Need Therapy NOT Coaching
Therapy Vs. Coaching
Coaching and therapy are not the same thing, and knowing which one you need matters.
Coaching is structured, forward-focused work on communication, patterns, and accountability. It is not mental health treatment. It does not involve diagnosis, treatment planning, or clinical documentation, and it is not billed to insurance.
If what you need is therapy, you should have it — and I would rather point you to the right place than take you through the wrong door.
Therapy is likely the better fit if:
-
You or your partner are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or another mental health condition
-
There is active substance use affecting the relationship
-
There is violence, intimidation, or fear in the relationship
-
You want to use insurance or an EAP benefit
-
You are looking for a formal assessment, diagnosis, or treatment record
-
A court, employer, or attorney has required counseling

Where To Go
Bridge Consulting Services, LLC is a licensed behavioral health group practice in the West Valley. Their team includes independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and they work with most major commercial insurance plans and EAP networks, along with private-pay options.
Disclosure: Bridge Consulting Services, LLC and Covenant Alignment Coaching are both owned by Tonya Shaw. Choosing therapy through Bridge is never a condition of coaching, and choosing coaching is never a condition of therapy.
